Summer 2026

Field notes from June through August.

Started as a Lending Intern at the Stanford Federal Credit Union this month, alongside wrapping into life as a Summer Resident Assistant — community nights, check-ins, and the usual floor rhythm. At The Stanford Daily, I launched the Audio section and stepped into Alumni & Friends Engagement Director, so the newsroom stayed in the picture even as the internship and RA work filled out the rest of June.

July settled into a quieter stretch of continuing work, with SAT/ACT/AP tutoring folded in beside the roles already underway. Confirmation also came through for a Research Assistant position at the Stanford Woods Institute for the Environment — a starting post I will take up from here, and the note that made the month feel like it tilted toward what's next.

August felt like the hinge of the summer. The Resident Assistant role wound down, and at the credit union I moved from Lending Intern to Branch Intern at the SFCU Tresidder branch — trading underwriting desks for the branch floor as the academic year came back into view.
